Bronze Wear Plate Manufacturer’s Investment in State-Of-The-Art Machining Center Improves More Than Just Capacity
Roseville, MI — National Bronze Mfg. Co., a leading manufacturer of bronze bushings, wear plates, and other machined components, is pleased to announce the completion of their latest machinery addition. Last year we saw the 103 year old company expanding their high volume bushing production capacity with the purchase of an Okuma CNC turning center and automatic bar feeder. This year the leader in bronze machined products has done it again. National Bronze Mfg. Co. has completed the purchase and installation of a brand new HAAS VF 5XT Vertical Machining Center.
The state-of-the-art CNC machining center is used in the manufacturing of bronze wear plate and wear liner products, a strong and growing product line for National. “We have seen solid steady growth in the bronze plate segment of our business and continue to be proactive about exceeding our customers’ demands” states Michael Russo VP Business Development. According to Russo this new machine will allow the company to be more efficient and flexible when servicing their wear plate customer base. Russo adds that, “without our customer’s dedication to us we wouldn’t be where we are today, and by investing in this advanced machinery we are expressing our dedication to delivering the absolute best products and service in return.” The new Haas machining center will allow National Bronze to increase their machining capacity as well as reducing production time. Russo states “we made the decision to invest in one of the most advanced machines available today in order to deliver the highest of quality products to our customers. Our business model has always been to exceed our customers’ expectations with our quality wear plates and fast turnaround times, this new addition will help us do exactly that. By taking a proactive approach and adding the capacity in anticipation of the demand, our customers will receive the excellent service they are used to no matter how busy we get. This added capacity also allows us to expand our services to new customers and markets that we haven’t had relationships with in the past.”
The new machine is one of many of the ongoing improvements at National Bronze Mfg.
