Your complete source for Bronze, Brass, and Copper Alloys
We maintain one of the largest inventories of nonferrous copper alloys in the country. We specialize in Bronze, Brass and Copper. These alloys are stocked in various shapes including bar, tube, plate, and sheet.
Bronze Alloys
Bearing Bronze Alloys
Bearing Bronze Alloys are general purpose bearing alloy possessing good anti-friction properties, ample strength and hardness, adequate ductility and excellent machinability. Bearing Bronze Alloys are for general utility bearings and bushings and which are highly resistant to impact, wear and corrosion. Alloys include C93200, C93600, and C93700
Aluminum Bronze Alloys
Aluminum bronzes are most valued for their higher strength and corrosion resistance as compared to other bronze alloys. Alloys in this family include C95400, C95900, C63000, C63020 C95510,C95500, and C61400.
Gear Bronze Alloys
A family of different bronze alloys that account for most of the nonferrous gear materials, mainly because of their "wear resistance" characteristics for withstanding a high sliding velocity with a steel worm gear. Alloys in this family include C90300, C90500, C90700, and C91100.
.Manganese Bronze Alloys
Manganese bronzes alloys can operate under very high loads and speeds. Besides excellent mechanical qualities, these alloys have good corrosion resistance. Alloys include C67300, C86300, C86400, and C86500.
.Phosphor Bronze Alloys
Phosphor Bronzes, or tin bronzes, are alloys containing copper, tin and phosphorous. The addition of tin increases the corrosion resistance and strength of the alloy. Alloys include C51000 and C54400.
.Silicon Bronze Alloys
Silicon Bronze offers added strength in conjunction with the self-lubricity of silicon for excellent bearing and load properties. Alloys include C64200.
.Toughmet® 3 Alloys
Toughmet 3 is a spinodal copper tin nickel alloy with high strength and hardness and a low coefficient of friction. C72900 Toughmet 3 AT C96900 Toughmet 3 CX.
.Brass Alloys
Free Cutting Brass
Also known as free-machining brass, alloy C360 is the machining standard by which all other metals are compared. This alloy is excellent for high speed machining..
.Naval Brass
Naval Brass has good strength and rigidity. This alloy is noted for its resistance to wear, fatigue and stress corrosion cracking. It is readily soldered, brazed and welded. The addition of tin to C46400 made for extra corrosion resistance in seawater and other mildly aggressive environments.
.Cartridge Brass
C260 Cartridge Brass has the highest ductility in the yellow brass series. Easily machined but is more often cold formed. Alloy C260 is commonly used for electrical components, electronic parts, and mechanical fasteners.
.Copper Alloys
ETP Copper
ETP (Electro Tough Pitch Copper) is cast from the highest purity copper cathode available grade. Copper bar is used in various electrical applications and requires several key electrical and mechanical properties.
.Chromium Copper
The chromium copper alloys are used for their high strength, corrosion resistance and electrical conductivity. They are used for spot and seam welding of cold and hot rolled steel, stainless steel and low conductivity brass and bronze.
.Beryllium Copper Alloys
Beryllium is a silver gray mettalic element that occurs naturally in about 30 minerals. It is lighter than Aluminum yet stiffer than steel. Beryllium gives Copper the strength of steel with the conductivity of a Copper Alloy.
.Beryllium Free Copper
This alloy meets the mechanical requirements of RWMA Class III Beryllium Copper without the using Beryllium. C180 Copper has very good mechanical strength along with moderate electrical and thermal conductivity.
