Another Great MFG Day at National Bronze Mfg. Co.

National Bronze Mfg. was honored to welcome students from Lincoln High School and Michigan Senator Michael MacDonald last week for MFG Day. The students had an opportunity to see a modernized manufacturing facility, learn about potential careers in manufacturing, and the skill employers will be looking for.

Each year, Manufacturing Day (MFG Day) is held on the first week in October in order to show students, parents, and the public what modern manufacturing is all about.  The fourth industrial revolution is rapidly changing our world. New advanced manufacturing technologies bring about whole new careers, requiring a skilled workforce interested in pursuing them. From bioengineers, to data analysts to robotics technicians, and all of the operations in between, there is a place for everyone in manufacturing.

National Bronze has been participating in MFG Day since 2013. It gives us the opportunity to highlight the benefits of careers in manufacturing and the opportunities available. Students are able to learn about the multitude of different positions available that are needed to operate a modern day manufacturing company.

Senator Michael MacDonald was able to see the types of products and technology implemented in order the make them at National Bronze. He discussed future opportunities in growing the manufacturing industry and talent in Macomb County.

We look forward to hosting MFG Day again in 2023 and inspiring a new generation of our workforce.
