Aerospace Components

National Bronze Mfg. has been manufacturing Aerospace and Military components for many years. We are one of the largest suppliers bronze alloy based components in the USA. Our knowledge of the Aerospace and Military markets and its stringent requirements is why we maintain strict quality procedures.
Utilizing advanced manufacturing technologies in CNC Milling, Turning, and Grinding we provide our customer base with quality machined components and assemblies. Our onsite processes enables us to control the manufacturing process through our machine shop and offer our customers a single source. Manufacturing programs and process are closely coordinated to achieve an optimal match of resources in the machine shop for effective cost, quality, and delivery. Decision making involves full team participation and involvement. The team often consists of engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, suppliers, and customers. Collaboration between National Bronze Mfg. our Customers and Suppliers is a key component to our sucess. Our goal is to provide our customers with world class products and customer service; while building a relationship that will last for many years.
Here at National Bronze Manufacturing quality is the key to our success. Our quality mission is to provide only materials that meets our customers requirements. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Our Quality Process begins with a full contract review of each order which involves our engineering and quality departments. Each component is reviewed for material, process, inspection, marking and shipping requirements prior to release to the machine shop. Once the contract review is complete; process and quality plans are developed to ensure compliance to customer's specification throughout the manufacturing process. During the manufacturing process key characteristics are inspected and records are retained per industry and customer requirements. Upon completion of the manufacturing process a final inspection is preformed and all key characteristics are recorded and retained per industry and customer requirements.
Implementing Supply Chain Management has enabled National Bronze Manufacturing to optimize the flow of information to our suppliers. We meet regularly with our suppliers to flow down all applicable specifications and to eliminate any potential process related issues. The relationships built between National Bronze Mfg. and our suppliers are a key component to the overall success of the manufacturing process in our machine shop. The benefits of these relationships are reduced operational expenses, improved customer service and improved competitiveness. We maintain an approved vendor list where vendors are measured for their quality and on time performance. Vendor review and approval ensures that suppliers selected to provide product and/or services to us employ a quality system that meets the quality requirements of National Bronze Manufacturing and our customers.
The Aerospace Industry has needs for lightweight, durable, corrosion resistant metal parts that can perform under a wide range of extrem temperatures. Various copper alloys have been specifically engineered to meet and exceed the needs of these critical applications. As important if not even more important is the standards of the metal supplier. Here at National Bronze Mfg. we offer a combination of meticulous quality standards with the special alloys that meet the most demanding applications.
We call these alloys our Aerospace Alloys. Many of the following Bearing Bronze, Aluminum Bronze, Nickel Aluminum Bronze and Beryllium Copper Alloys can be found in Landing Gear Bushings, Wheel & Brake Components, Actuators, Hydraulic Components, and many other Aerospace applications. The machining facility at National Bronze Manufacturing employs a highly skilled workforce and has advanced equipment to produce a multitude of components and complex parts. We have been machining bronze parts has been in operation since the early 1900's. We have an approved ISO9001:2008 Quality Management System along with full CNC machining, turning, milling, and grinding capabilities. Our team of highly skilled Sales Engineers, CNC Programmers and Machinists are experienced, innovative and has a passion for perfection.
Our CNC Milling, Turning and Grinding Machines are capable of multi-axis machining with spindle speeds up to 25,000 RPM. Utilizing these machining centers our team or Engineers, CNC Programmers and Machinists are able to produce components to stringent specifications. We perform first piece, in-process, incoming and final inspections throughout the entire production cycle to ensure the highest quality of every component. All incoming material (raw material, hardware and components returning from an outside process) is thoroughly inspected for material condition, chemical composition and special process specification before it's issued to the machine shop. In accordance with customer and industry standards all first piece, in-process, incoming and final inspection reports created during the manufacturing process are retained.
We pride ourselves on producing quality components to exacting standards which is evident in our ISO9100:2008 certification.
National Bronze Manufacturing prides itself on meeting the needs of each customer; using inventory managements systems such as KANBAN, PAC, Kitting and JIT we're able to respond quickly to customer requests. We have a diverse and flexible inventory system which is capable of reacting to the demands of our customers. Utilizing our machine shop ERP software we're able to set minimum, maximum and reorder levels for all components and assemblies. If inventory levels reach minimum an automated alert is issued; informing Engineering to release a new production lot to the machine shop for manufacturing. Tracking inventory levels enables us to release economic lot sizes to the machine shop for manufacturing thus reducing our operational expenses and any potential delivery delays to our customers.
National Bronze Manufacturing has the ability to adapt our system to the delivery needs of our customers. In some cases we're able to synchronize our customers system with our system therefore reducing administrative expenses and improving the flow of information. Our onsite warehouse enables us to hold product for release according to the customer's needs.
Our kitting services help to increase performance with many aspects of the procurement cycle. Cost savings, staffing levels, cashflow and time are some of the key points to consider. All kits are provided as per your specific needs and requirements including labelling and packaging to suit. No two customers requirements are the same hence every solution is specifically tailored to ensure it works for you whether you are in manufacture assembly, sub contract, aftermarket or MRO.
Whatever the components and wherever the location, we can provide you a full solution. All kit elements are fully traceable and range from simple bagging to highly advanced kit boxes for fast line side support. All our solutions include offering pre-prepared kits of parts to suit your MRP and production build programmes. Components are taken from stock and delivered to sites anywhere for final assembly, either labelled, vacuum sealed or as per your specification. This reduces your ordering, administration, turn around time (ToT) and stockholding whilst increasing efficiency and productivity.
