National Bronze Mfg. Co. Conflict Minerals Policy
National Bronze Mfg. Co. is a manufacturer and distributor of copper alloy based products including bronze alloys, brass alloys, and copper alloys. Our manufacturing activities are confined to the physical alteration of the metals and do not in any way alter or impact the chemical content of those products.
There are many layers in the supply chain that separate us from the mines where tantalum, tin, tungsten, and gold (“Conflict Minerals”) are sourced. Based on a reasonable inquiry of our suppliers, to our knowledge, the materials we supply to our customers after January 31, 2013, will be “DRC conflict free” since such products either are produced from recycled and scrap sources or utilize “Conflict Minerals” that do not originate from the Democratic Republic of the Congo or adjoining countries.
In an effort to assist our customers with their compliance with Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act and the related Section 13(p) of the Securities and Exchange Act of 1934, we are providing access to the required Conflict our Conflict Mineral Statement outlining our policy regarding these changes.
The Conflict Minerals Statement as well as many other documents can be found on our “Resources” Page.
