Large Diameter Bronze Bearings

We use the term "Oversized" or "Large Diameter" for any bearing requring an outside diameter exceeding our largest "off the shelf" size, generally 20 inches. To meet the larger diameter requirements we offer customized solutions including either the centrifugal or static cast process. These products can be purchased in a rough machined condition (with clean-up material left on all surfaces for you to finish), or as a full machined, ready to use component.

Oversized Bronze Bearings are used in a variety of applications including Heavy Duty Construction Equipment, Hydro-Electric, Offshore Marine, Nuclear, and Machine Repair, to name a few.

Historically, Cast Bronze Alloys have been the materials of choice due to the ability of customizing mechanical and physical properties simply by altering the alloying element. Many alloys are available to meet the demands of very specific application requirements.
